– Marina Kaštela Fuel Station: Located directly at the marina. It operates on Fridays (afternoon) and Saturday mornings. Please plan extra time due to long queues on Friday afternoons.

Deposit and costs
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Euro/Mastercard, and Diners Club for local payments and security deposits.
Is a security deposit mandatory and how much is it?
Yes, a security deposit is mandatory and must be left at check-in via cash or credit card. The amount depends on the yacht model and size, with separate rates for extras (Gennaker/Code Zero) and regatta participation (where the deposit doubles). Please check your booking confirmation for the exact amount.
What does the yacht hull (Kasko) insurance cover?
All yachts are fully comprehensive insured (Kasko). The deductible corresponds to the security deposit amount. Damage caused by your own or a third party’s fault is covered, except in cases of gross negligence. In the event of damage, the cost will be charged against the deposit at check-out, and you will receive a detailed receipt for your insurance company.
Can I purchase deposit insurance directly from BavAdria?
Yes, BavAdria offers non-refundable deposit insurance at our office in Marina Kaštela. It costs a percentage of the deposit amount and covers damages exceeding a set threshold.
– Exclusions: Please note that gross negligence—such as clogged toilets, loss of equipment (dinghy, outboard engine, gennaker), or incorrect refueling—is strictly excluded and not covered by this insurance.
Can I purchase deposit insurance from an external provider?
Yes, clients must arrange external coverage themselves directly with an insurance company. Popular providers include Yacht-Pool, Pantaenius, and UNIQA (Andreas Richter).
– IMPORTANT FOR USA CITIZENS: These European firms do not provide deposit insurance for USA citizens. US citizens must secure a policy with an insurer based in the USA.
